covid guidance

I am pleased to announce I am fully prepared and ready for reopening on August 1st 2020. I am confident in the precautions I have put in place to provide a safe environment for my lovely clients and myself.

You will notice a few changes at your next makeup appointment but you can rest assured you will still be provided with a relaxing makeup application. Just because we have more safety rules doesn’t mean we can’t have fun! Some of the changes are as follows;

makeup consultation

Going forward I will offer you a video or telephone consultation prior to your appointment. This will give us the opportunity to discuss your desired makeup look and any skin concerns you may have. I will talk you through what to expect when you come for your appointment. This is a good time to show me makeup pictures or inspiration for your makeup. I will also be able to answer any questions or concerns you may have.

on arrival

On the day of your appointment please arrive only 5 mins prior to your appointment time. I will ask that you wait in your car and text me when you have parked outside. I will be spacing out appointment times so it is likely that you will only be asked to wait for a short period of time.

Please come to your appointment alone and only bring essentials belongings with you.

appointment

At your appointment you will notice I now have some extra accessories to my outfit! I will be wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) including a mask and a visor. This is an additional hygienic precaution to keep us both safe.

An appointment must be made in advance. You will be provided with a ‘belongings bag’ for all your essential belongings at the beginning of the appointment.

decontamination

To ensure the highest level of hygiene the following measures will be taken;

Clean fresh brushes for each client
Handwashing in between clients and hand sanitizer available
Fresh PPE correctly used in every appointment
Makeup station and chair sterilised in between clients
Makeup kit cleaned and wiped down after each use
Limited clients per day
Guidelines reviewed weekly and appropriate changes if required

cancellations

Should you develop any coronavirus symptoms leading up to your appointment, or you have been informed and advised to isolate because you have been in close contact with a positive case please call 07487881555 to cancel the appointment.

The main symptoms of coronavirus (COVID-19) are:

A high temperature – this means you feel hot to touch on your chest or back (you do not need to measure your temperature)
A new, continuous cough – this means coughing a lot for more than an hour, or 3 or more coughing episodes in 24 hours (if you usually have a cough, it may be worse than usual)
A loss or change to your sense of smell or taste – this means you've noticed you cannot smell or taste anything, or things smell or taste different to normal
